Do we know what herbals are safe for chickens?

I think this post goes here but I could be wrong. I have no emergency I am just curious. I use herbals for myself and the kiddies and heck even the dogs at times. Does anyone use anything other than apple ciderr vinegar and yogurt on their chickies? If so what is safe and what is not?

By herbals I am thinking elderberry for antiviral which btw I can give to an infant as long as it has no alcohol base. Just curious if others have knowledge on this?
