Do we think the bigger hens start laying later than the shrimps?

Hate to compare species, but you do see some of the heavy breed of chickens taking more time to mature, so they can put that body "style" on, and THEN start laying.

You wonderful Jumbo Co-op people can perhaps answer the average onset of laying for your heavier birds as part of the big research project. Pretty please?

Any one have observations till now on the Coturnix:
a. Color and onset of laying
b. Size of ma and or pa and onset of laying
