I found out about Freecycle about a year ago. Since then I've given away a glider rocker, a desk, Barbie stuff, Looney Toons cookie jars and more. I've received a dining room table and chairs, a corner cabinet (a New England tradition), a brand new Tupperware Salad Spinner and lots of clothes for my 7-year old daughter.

Do you Freecycle? Have you gotten any goodies from someone?

I do too, gave away 2 naughty birds and lots of household stuff, got 4 great wire cages just last thursday. Excellent program.

I probably would if there was one around here, but there's not.

Oh I love freecycle. Ive gotten some really nice things on there. As well as given away lots of things. The only thing is since I live futher out in the country, I normally meet up with people in town when I go to get groceries.

Absolutely...I've given away a lot of stuff and also received some cool things.

Love it! Only problem is that I'm never fast enough to get other people's good stuff! Freecyclers are FAST around my parts!

I've gotten rid of a TON of stuff from my house.

I used to Freecycle, but I was better at getting rid of things than getting them. Like the previous poster, everyone was way faster than me!
I hated when I'd call dibs on something, they'd say come pick it up, I'd say "I'll be there in an hour", and when I get there, they say "Someone just came and got it. You were the third person here."

Thanks, a**ho**. I didn't have anything better to do than spend two hours driving out here and back for nothing.

I got a cheap stroller, rocking chair, and a highchair. Nothing spectacular.
