Do you have any birds named after fictional characters or famous people?

I do. I have:

- Misha Collins

- The Doctor

- Rose Tyler

- Dean Winchester Jr. (I had a plain old Dean Winchester, but he was jerk so I stewed him. But Jr. is his son)

- Jack Twist

- Vera Farmiga

- Rory & Amy

- Jensen Ackles

- Benedict Cumberbatch

- Ragnar (name courtesy of my mom, who adores the show Vikings)

- Ruby and Abaddon (I had a Meg too, but she keeled over sometime last month)

- Castiel

- Cecil Palmer

- Perfect Carlos

- Felicia Day

- Brooks, Winowna, and Trisha (who according to their old owner are all named after country music singers. I don't listen to country often so I'll take his word for it.)

- Charlie Bradbury

- Van Halen

- Castle

- Lucifer (yes, really. He's awful)

- Crowley

- Shawn & Gus

- Hannibal Lecter

- Will Graham

There are probably more, but I have so many it's hard to remember them all just by name sometimes.

I have a merri and Pippyn, (After the hobbits)
Lizzy and Jane
Anna and Elsa (Elsa's secret power is that even though she is a for sure a hen, she crows!)
And Dumbledore! Head rooster of Henwarts. :D

I'm debating naming 2 new chicks Errol and Hedwig...

One of my nuggets is dubbed "robin sparkles" (odd thing is I never did watch how I met your mother that much...)

I also have a Merida, a miss piggy (muppets count too dangit!!) and I have an egwene (though she's a bit of a....)
Oh and back on muppets I have Sam (named after Sam the eagle)

Our hens are always named after fictitious characters. My granddaughter (pictured in my avatar) names most of our hens after Disney princesses. We've had Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Briar Rose, Ariel, Mulan, Belle, Jasmine, Tiana, Rapunzel, Meridah, Elsa, Anna, etc. in our flock. When our flock is too big to name them all after Disney princesses, she names the remainder after comic book superheroines. We've have Diana, Zatanna, Barda, Shayera, Kara, Wanda, Natasha, Helena, etc. in our flock. I have a hard time keeping up with who's who.)

I have a goose named Gerty after the biochemist Gerty Cori.

Wilson my Welsummer roo after Woodrow Wilson.

Other than them the rest r goofy names!!

Yup... Drake, Eve, Nicki and Lil Kim

We haven't gotten ours yet, but I am picking out names. Our easter eggers will be my daughters, she has prenamed them rainbow and skittles. I wanted the rest of the 6 to be all different breeds (so I can tell them apart lol) But when I reserved them from the breeder I chose, she didn't have all the breeds available. I thought I would have to get two of each kind. At that point I was thinking of girl team names (Lucy and Ethel, Wilma and Betty, and Laverne and Shirley) After that she popped me a message and had some of the other breeds I wanted available, so need to re think the names lol. I tease Katie and tell her the queen of the roost should be named Princess Eugenia Fluffybutt!
