Do you intervene with a new chick?

Happy New Year! First timer here and I had a question, my bantam hen just successfully sat on her first egg, the little chick hatched this morning! We are super excited. I was wondering if there’s anything I need to do for the chick? We put starter feed and water right by them in the coup, but I wasn’t sure if there’s anything I should do? Thanks!

That chick has a mama so there's nothing for you to do. Although, keep an eye on the pair for any odd behaviors.

Ugh, chickens. I couldn’t find that sweet baby chick all day so tonight we kicked the chickens out of the coop and that chick is nowhere to be found. We’re pretty sure the other chickens ate her. Our hen is laying in another egg set to hatch in three days. We will be moving the two inside for the time being. Thanks for the info!
