Do you know why there are brown eggs? I do

I walked up on a conversation today about eggs, the one lady ( mid 40's ) was saying that she doesn't eat brown eggs. When the other guy asked her why not she said because the brown eggs have baby chickens in them. Thats how you can tell if a rooster had been with the hen you got brown eggs and white eggs meant that the hen hadn't been with a rooster.
When I tried to explain things to her she didn't believe me cuz Kroegers only sells white eggs so they don't get baby chickens. I just said OK and walked off.
