Do you need a Rooster

I am wondering do you need a rooster around your females for them to lay eggs or if you have a coop full of only hens will they still lay eggs? Thanks

You don't need a rooster. You DO need a rooster if you want to incubate the eggs, as only the rooster can make the hens lay fertile eggs.
