I've mixed up the vitamin/electrolyte powder for my chick's drinking water, but I threw out the package (dumb me). I can't remember if it needs to be refridgerated or if it even says to do it. I can't remember what brand it is either, but it's a green package. Just to be cautious I have been putting it there, but was just curious if it was necessary. I seem to remember that pedialyte needs to be kept cold and has a very short shelf life once opened.

I looked at my package (yellow) and it doesn't say anything about storage. Just says mix up fresh daily.

No idea since I've never used vits or electrolytes myself, but I would assume to maintain it's quality and vitamin value, the fridge is the best option. I think many chicken vits say to mix and change as needed per day.

The package makes up such a large quantity, I just mix 1L at a time. I empty and refill their bowl twice a day, but I don't think that they really need anything but water now, they seem quite healthy. I'll keep it in the fridge in the meantime. Thanks!
