Do you see green?

Do you see green in this ducks head?! Every time I think it’s a girl this green head throws me off again!

I don’t know much about ducks but it does appear to be green

Hello 4littleducklings, Welcome to BYC. Beautiful looking ducks. I have that very same issues when it comes to looking at our fowl. They are Rouen,Mallard,Pekin mix and it is a bit difficult for me to look at them and know for sure just yet.

Hello 4littleducklings, Welcome to BYC. Beautiful looking ducks. I have that very same issues when it comes to looking at our fowl. They are Rouen,Mallard,Pekin mix and it is a bit difficult for me to look at them and know for sure just yet.

This is the only one that’s giving me trouble lol we have 4 and 3 are Rouens and this particular one is khaki mixed with something so it doesn’t look like the others. The head is throwing me off because otherwise she looks like my female Rouen without the color in the wings.

I guess it will boil down to who starts chasing who when they are old enough to know for sure.
