Do you stay up for New Years?

Today is New Years eve, do you stay up to midnight, go to be early or something else?
Personally, I go to bed early, get up early and go shopping while few are out.

I don't care to stay up just for the sake of staying up, so I'll stay up if there's a good reason to but otherwise meh, I'd rather go to bed.

I'm a night owl anyways so I always stay up past midnight. Can't remember the last time I went to bed earlier than midnight

My neighborhood is very patriotic apparently. It's like a war for an hour. Nonstop. In the mix we'll go shoot our 12 mortars and go back to bed

We stayed up for the change of the millennium. We stood out in the field to see if the laws of physics would be repealed, as some people had forecast. Nope.
