Do your local Farmer's Markets allow sale of live chicks?

You can get something called an inverter. It's a plug for your cars cigarette lighter and on the other end is a 'real' plug outlet. I use one for my laptop all the time, I don't see why you can't use it for a warmer of some sort. A heat lamp might drain your battery, but a heating pad would probably be warm enough, especially in summer.

They also have little heaters for camping that run off of those little green canisters and I imagine 1 canister would give you several hours of use.

The problem with using an inverter is that not all car lighters are powered when the engine is off, and depending on the length of time and the amount of poser drawn, it might well drain the battery dry. However, at this time of year, I would be needing ice packs for the chicks, not warmers

Thanks for all the ideas and thoughts about this. I don't really have time for doing this now.. but it might be fun and interesting. Like the ideas about how to help the folks get everything they need to get started..
... would be helpful to have info sheets printed also. Many thanks!
