Yesterday morning we heard a strange weird crow and figured out that our 5 month old Wyandotte that was so big was actually a rooster. We have a Bantam rooster. I did not hear him crow at all yesterday and “Little Squirt” was always crowing frequently thru the day. But then, I wasn’t home most of the day. I did not go down to the “Poultry Palace” yesterday at all. This am when I went I was shocked to find my Americauna dead in the coop, and in the run Little Squirt & 6 mo old Leghorn just with skeletal remains!!! All my doorways and all surrounding chickwire fencing intact! One other hen has damaged comb with dried blood.

That is crazy, I have a giant Wyandotte rooster, and a bantam roo named Squirt. What a coincidence! I am sorry about your loses, sounds like a predator other than a rooster.
So why would predator leave one dead hen up inside coop and her egg was up on top of roost over nesting boxes where she ALWAYS laid her eggs (only have 1 Americauna and was a green egg) like she wasn’t able to get into nesting box to lay her egg? There are ramp/steps down to 12x20 run and so I can’t see why weasel would leave her up in coop?

WORMS??? They would kill one hen and leave up in coop and completely devour other 2chickens!?!!
No.
That was just a reply to the member I quoted. I've came across a few of their posts the last few days and I believe that was their only one I saw that didn't refer to worms.
Just double checking with them since worms seem to be the subject of all their posts.
