Does a tail shaped like this ^ indicate a pullet tail? ANYONE ELSE?

My chicks tail feathers are coming in and I've been told that when viewed from underneath a tail shaped like ^ is a pullet tail.
Is this an indicator? Or, do cockerels come in like that too?
