Does anybody know how to sex 3 week old ducks.

I just bought what is suppose to be Pekin ducks from our TSC.They are 2-3 weeks old (thats what the guy told me)and was wondering if anybody knows how to sex them at this age?Anybody?

Erm well, yes....I do.
It is better demonstrated or shown with pictures rather than described. One carefully opens up the vent & if there's a little willy (looks like a little worm) it's a male

Have you tried a search online for photos.....or even youtube sometimes has "how to" films.

Oh yes....before long you'll be able to sex them by voice.....when they get past peeping the duck makes a definite "QUACK" but he drake has a more rasping sound.

If it quacks, it's a girl. My pekin girl started quacking at 2 weeks old.
