Hello. I am planning my order for the spring and I am wondering if anybody has raised any of these breeds. If you hav ewill you post pictures od the chicks/chickens please. And if they are good layers or not and how many eggs you get. If this is too much trouble then please don't worry about it. Thank you..

White Rock
Golden Laced Wyandottes
Partridge RocksBlack Australorps
Golden and silver Lakenvelders
Anaconas
Blue Andulusion
Golden Campine

I have barred rocks (close to white rocks) they lay well and are nice. Black Australorps are THE best egg layers. One layed 364 eggs in one year. Campines are pretty, but can be flighty and mean.

Rocks in general are a great dual purpose birds with a good disposition. They're good layers, about 4-5 eggs a week. The whites lay better in the winter then the rest, with that said the other rocks don't do bad either. The Black Australorps are hardy and very good layers as well. They also have a good disposition and social. Just to give you something to think about, Columbian Wyandottes are also good layers in the winter time (most breeds slow down in winter).

i have australorps lol
they lay BIG brown eggs and are very friendly

I have about 5 white rock hens, a roo.
I have about 3 black astro hens, no roo.
I have two partridge rock hens, no roo.

I really like all these breeds and the roo is a good boy.

I have not have a good outcome with the lakenvelders, they seem to be an unhardy breed.

The rest you speak of i have had no experience with.

Help this helps.

You just can't beat the "Rocks" and the Barred Rocks, to me are the best of the Rocks.
