Buying hatching eggs has caused too much heartache. Finding a breeder in my area, let alone my state has become an impossible task. I really wanna raise a few showgirls.

anybody? Ill pay well.

my poor poor empty brooder. as some of you know my shipment of thirty eggs has gone down to four eggs with five days left in the bator. This really reduces my chances of getting what i want if i even get anything at all.

please let me know, i am mostly interested in buff and partridge, but i will consider other colors too! These babies will go to a wonderful home

My silkies just started to lay. I am testing the fertility now and have 10 in the bator. i have a white showgirl roo over one white, black and spash hen. I also have a blcak showgirl hen as well. I do ship chicks as well. I can not say how many will be showgirl as they hatch out both standard and showgirl. Keep me in mind. How many are you looking for.

Honestly I just want to end up with two showgirl hens because I run a very tiny operation here, lol. So I bought thirty eggs thinking half would hatch, half of those would be silkies, and then I'd just raise themm all for a while before choosing the two nicest looking showgirls.

So yeah, I'm totally prepared to do a silkie showgirl thing, but I have to be honest and say that most of the chicks would get sold at a dew months old.

Thanks for your response, I was pointed in the direction of a nice farm that breeds them, but they require a 30 chick minimum and I think that may be a bit tight for my brooder. Realistically it could probobly fit 20 much better
