best weather?

They are 5 1/2 weeks old and have been enjoying the outside so I can't keep them in their brooder today but it sure is windy and hot. We have a tarp over the run for shade but its still so windy.

Do they know to go into their coop when it's uncomfortable out for them? They have been in quite a bit today but when I go out and check on them they come out to greet me ( I think they assume I have a treat), then will play for a bit. I will go back in the house and hope they go back in their coop.

Mom guilt?

Good mommy! But yes, if they are inside and come running out when you go out there, that prooves they are inside when you're not out there...

Sounds like they know enough to get out of the weather, it's surprising that they are so smart right off the bat!!!!
