I currently have 4 silver spangled hamburg bantams that are 8 weeks old. Still to early to tell you much about them, sorry.

you gotta give more than 10 mins for someone to see it

I have andalusian mixes(x australorp), pretty mellow, don't want to be bothered outside the coop but don't fuss at me inside the coop and don't freak if I touch them. Lay large eggs almost daily
my anconas are basket cases...my roo got out before I was letting them free range and if it wasn't dark I never would have caught him, he still runs away if I get close...the hens would be gone if they didn't lay good size eggs everyday. They wing beat everytime I go in the coop.....and they are noisy...

You did not indicate bantam or LF SSH so I include my pic of Heidi, my old SSH Bantam.

The SSH bantams are sweet and they love to be petted. Some can be easy going while others can be flighty, depending how much time you spend in messing with them. I got all mine from Jim LaGendre, a famous breeder of SSH Bantams and his birds has been winning all over the States.

The LF SSH I had, they were shy or indifference in my presence. They were better egg layers than the bantam sizes.

Both lay well with white egg layers and the roosters are definately handsome to look at.

Now I only have one SSH bantam hen, she is now three years old and my 4 year old DD's pet that she can pick up and carry around.

I am hoping to get some blue andalusions too, very excited, can't wait. I have heard they are small and active, lay white eggs and don't go broody. But they just look so pretty and unusual.
