Thanks SO Much. Ive been trying to figure it out for weeks. I used to have nearly 200 special breeds years ago. But never had one of these. Im hoping its a hen. I can tell yet. Been out of the business for many years. Just doin a little backyard breeding.Thanks again Susie

Do you have more recent photos of your partridge cochin? We have a partridge cochin roo too, but it took us about 16 weeks to figure out for sure he was a male, lol.

These are on my wishlist. Went to a flea market yesterday and seen about 20 of them for sale so I was waiting in line to talk to the guy about getting a couple of the hens and the guy in front of me purchased every single one of them. I was slightly upset, even if they were "flea market" chickens. They were beautiful. I have Cochins but they are all white and one has a tinsy bit of splash.

Yes she is definately a Partridge Cochin. I tried to take new pics, but I guess I need to take a lot of pics OFF, of my Pc. It wont download it. But her true colors, are the same, as when she was young. Shes brown, with gold lace all over her. Shes VERY pretty. I would suggest you try to get some if you can. They are neat to watch.
