Does anyone have Plexiglass windows in ur coops?

I got my window at HomeDepot in the clearence bin for $2.00. It was a storm window and I made it open from the outside. WORKS GREAT.

ya we do plan on putting a 2x2 frame around it and put hardware cloth in the opening for protection. So it will open...just worried it's not going to be warm enough for the chickens. But sounds like many of you use it and its just fine. now I can put my worries to rest. I only have another week before my chickens arrive so I have to be prepared! lol I have been reading nonstop for a month now!
