Does anyone have the Run-Chicken automatic chicken door

I need to get a reliable chicken door but the last one I got was the Ador 1 and the gears wore down. Does anyone have experience with this specific model? Any advice is appreciated

How long did your Ador1 work. ?? I have one, and no problems since I got it in 2017.
Is there some debris getting stuck in the tracks???
What is the cause you suspect for the failure of your opener???

Your linked opener, works same as an Ador1. That particular one is smaller than the Ador opening. It also runs on 2 AA batteries,, so it is not very powerful.
If you encounter snow load or icing against door, chances are it will not open, or close properly. You are in NY which does get snow in winter.
If that is a concern, Ador, can be installed inside coop, with remote sensor. I paid $17 for mine.

It worked for about 2 years. We were thinking it started wearing down from chickens push on it and ice and snow jamming it.

I have one. Works great.

I'm assuming the Ador1 is very similarly designed, if so then it's likely you can just replace the gear on the motor
