Does anyone have this TSC hutch?

I had one similar when I got my first covey at start of this year. I assembled it then folded some hardware cloth and used screws to set it inside as a floor. Then, I basically just slid the tray out. I also added hardware cloth on front for smaller holes since mine was outside.

It worked OK for what is was but I just wanted something higher because my pug was way too interested.

This is the one I got on Amazon, it has the dimensions and might be useful since it looks almost the exact same as yours, but beware there is one that is not as long and looks identical. This is in the 45" range and others are 36".

Thanks, Gummy. Good info.
Looks like I'd have to add smaller mesh anyway then... I have some, but if I'm going to do mods that might sway me to build another single story hutch. Just at a height I like better than the prefabs.

I'm not understanding the "retreat area on upper level" description on the Amazon hutch either :idunno

Yeah, maybe I'll just build another.

I did see some people use the rabbit hutch and deep litter system instead. I will say one of the largest annoyances was getting the tray out, just didn't slide as nicely as you'd like.

So, yeah, I'd agree with you - it'd be nicer to build one.

Which one didn't the tray slide easily? The TSC hutch or the Amazon hutch?
They look so close to me I'm wondering if it's just a rebranding?

Yeah, I would bet it's rebranding. A bunch of places sell them and they all look very very similar. The amazon one is the one that the tray didn't slide smoothly. It's wood on wood and not polished plus if you approach it from any angle, instantly stuck. Had to stand right in middle and wiggle it out, etc.
