Pampered Chef? Avon? Mary Kay? etc etc...

Tell me about it. I'm thinking about doing Pampered Chef but I just need someone to push me off the fence... one way or the other!

dh's neice sells PChef and loves it. She seems to make really good money but she works almost every weekend. She also has her Monday- Fri. job, a large extend family which all helps for sales 'outlets'. Her mother also leaves the books in her office, at all her meetings and really helps get the word out.

When my girls were little I sold Discovery toys. I loved their stuff! The kit was a great value, and I had toys for them to grow into for years! I also love Pampered Chef, Longaberger baskets and pottery, and Partylite candles!

I have a friend who does Gold Canyon and another who does Tastefully Simple, so I don't want to screw up their mojo! LOL Not only that, but they will combine their parties so I wouldn't want to compete with them that way.
I was thinking Body Shop, too. I love their store in the mall. It just seems like they don't give you any valuable information until after you put your investment in. I want a realistic idea of what it will take to make the money I want, but they don't really do that. Ugh.
At this point, if I could start at a couple of hundered dollars a month, I'd be happy.

Tried tupperware twice! It is hard once you run out of contacts. But some people can just sell things better than others!
I also did avon in high school! I sold to a lot of teachers, I did pretty good!
My cousin did beauty control, love the stuff, but it costs way to much!
My friend did pampered chef, and did well, she stocked her kitchen and then quit!
It just got old she said!

I absolutely love pampered chef. I don't know if we have consultants in this area, but i would love to have another party! A womans kitchen is akin to a mans workshop.--the more 'tools' the better! I think it would do better than makeup. OTOH, Avon or Regal is less work. Just dorp of a catalogue and wait for the orders to be called in.--Less money though...

What about the scrapbooking one? I'm having a "dumb" moment at this time and can't remember the name, but does it do good? I am moving, and would love to get into something like that.
