This year I had good luck ordering orpingtons from McMurray Hatchery. My 6 orpington hens started to lay between 18 1/2 and 23 1/2 weeks.

I bought some from Ideal hatcheries 3/28/08 & they're laying already. Great color size&
attitude luv them.

I also ordered from Ideal wice this year and they only sexed one chick wrong out of 21. I highly recommend them.
