Does anyone know anything about Guineas????

LOL, I thought I had a weird guinea. I have 20 and 1 of them NEVER shuts up. She is always squawking. I didn't put them with my baby chicks til my guineas and chicks were 4-5 weeks old. They had seperate brooders but went into the coop at the same time. They all get along fine. Guineas seem to not be as smart as the chickens but they knew to roost on the roost from the first day in the coop and I am still working on getting the chickens to roost.

For those of you that like to try new foods I've read that guinea taste very similar to pheasant and is served as pheasant at some fancy restaurants. I think it was a "fact" in one of my mcmurry hatchery catalogs
