Really depends on the quality.

My opinion, hatchery based ones should go for normal laying hen price, and from there on the price can go up based on quality or rarity of color/strain.

Good Faverolles that match their standard are rare, and I'd find it reasonable to price them higher than the average chicken. How high depends on how good a bird it really is, how much time you put into breeding to get to that point, and how rare its color or strain is.

Bought five for 12 euros each, that's about $16 a bird. Ended up with two cocks and three hens instead of one and four. One of the boys is the "clear" not dark or salmon variety - ho hum...
Now need to speak to Houdan-Faverolles Club de France for other breeders.
