I have 6 mixed breed chicks that I hatched in an incubator and then put them in a tub in the bedroom with all the stuff they need also a branch to play on and a heat lamp but now I am worried that I may have made them to used to being warm and that if I put them in the chicken house they will be cold they do not have a mother. I did not think they would all hatch after my first try with the incubator as it was a complete failure. Spent lots of money on eggs from Gabbard Farms and none hatched it was not the eggs it was me not regulating the temp right . So how should I transition them to the chicken house? I need my bedroom back.
