So first I have to tell you guys, my flock contains of 5 chickens, 4 of them are almost 2 months one is 2 weeks. 1 of the 2 month old chickens is a boy. So my chickens all of them are exctreamly attached to one another, like more than i think is normal. They don't walk anywhere unless there together. One day I'm walking with them in the yard and one gets separated from the others. In the past that one would chirp till the hole flock found them. That day all of a sudden I heard barking. But the flock found that bird and the barking stopped. The next day the same thing happened but between two of them like they where barking back and forth. It only lasted a few minutes. The thing is it wasn the boy. We have quite a few neighbors that have dogs, is it possible that my chickens are mimicking the dogs for safty reasons.

No a chicken is not going to mimic a dog and start barking.
Idk what you heard but I'll never believe it was a chicken barking.
Funny post though. Made me laugh.
You haven't been in my stash have you? I thought there was a jug missin.
