does anyone know if squirrels will harm chickens?

Other than maybe stealing eggs. I am getting ready to start a new flock and I have been feeding the squirrels and chipmunks close to were I am going to put my coop. I just thought about the squirrels.

no, they wont attack chickens, though they might cause other problems. getting into the feed is one, and rodents aren't the cleanest animals

They will learn where the food is, and help themselves to an easy meal, although full grown chickens should be safe.
