Funny you should say that, I purchased eggs from a Marans breeder (no Black unfortunately) and they were shipped priority and well packed with the tiniest word "Fragile" written very neatly on the front. I forgot to request all the usual "Extremely Fragile, Hatching Eggs, NO XRAY, NO FREEZING... " etc, etc to be written on the box but you would expect that perhaps a breeder would do this anyway. Well the box arrived with many scrambled eggs, needless to say. Turns out the breeder really only sells chicks because the USPS manages chicks far better. Oh well, I will hopefully have my own Blacks someday and I will probably order chicks from April Howington.
