Does anyone know what these are?

Ringneck pheasants, actually all pheasants, can fly very well. Pheasants and chickens should not be kept together. Pheasants, like peafowl, can die from diseases that chickens carry. Ringneck pheasants do have a cannabalistic nature associated with them, which is why they often wear blinders, but with only a pair I would not think it would be necessary. When I had ringnecks, they tried mating with everything, so I imagine the male will mate with your chickens.

Oh! Thank you so much for the info. I'll see if anyone around would want to take them. If left where they are I ame afraid either a cat or dog will get them. There have been a few feral cats around and one of the other neighborso has 2 dogs that jumped into three yards and killed two house cats, one was pregnant (expensive siamese).
My Labrador thinks she is a chicken so they are safe.
