Does anyone know what this is ?

Looks like a peck mark, or bite of some sort. Is this the only chicken with this.
Its too early in winter to be frostbite. Temps not that cold yet.

Is the wattle swollen and bluish? If so, it might be from a tick bite, which can cause bleeding into the tissue. Can you see any evidence of where a tick was on her? It helps to be more descriptive of symptoms.

Thanks for the help, it is more than likely a peck from in the pen, after cavemanrich replayed it made sense to me, I had hung a half head of cabbage for them to peck at and she more than likely got in the way, thanks again

It looks bruised but more then that the swelling is worrisome.

Were you asking about the swollen area below the ear or something on the comb?

The swollen area, more than likely she got pecked
