My son has 3 males and 1 female Coturnix quail and they fight. We separated 2 males and wanted to sell them but the auction wants a "state #" What are they talking about? Can I sell them on this forum? Thanks for the help.

Most states require a license or permit to sell and/or raise game birds like coturnix. Contact your local wildlife commission officer to find out how to get one.

You can sell them here, but unless someone is within driving distance, shipping will cost you a fortune.
