I have 3 month old white crested Polish who needs her facial feathers cut or plucked. She bumps into things, and sometimes can't find her flock-mates. Sometimes she does not even know when I am behind her. Not good if there were a predator close by. Her eyes are bright and don't look like there is anything wrong with them, so it must be the feathers.

Should I cut or pluck? Is there a certain way to do it? I don't want to slip!!

Plucking can lead to open sores and possible infection. Trimming is SOOOO less stressful for everyone involved.

Never ever pluck-I do a facial trim:) My 1 yr olds poof is so big-I trim around her eyes I dont cant how bad it truly looks on her as much as I care about her safety
