Does clipping wings help keep them closer to home?

We have a 4 foot fence with 6 to 7 foot tall shrubs all the way around the property if we clip their wings will they still jump or fly over the fence?

I have 5 foot fencing. I sure hope so. I plan on clipping the left wing of each bird, just as I do the chickens. It worked for my chicken problem. Granted, the guineas are much wilder and I believe will fly better than the chickens, but other than canopying my whole yard, its my only choice. I guess we will see together.
