Does father goose send children away ?

My Egyptian geese had goslings and all was well. Then at about 6 months old it seemed like the father was being aggressive and chasing the children away. There is 1 little one left and he lives by himself in another area. Is it normal behavior for the father to chase the children away ? Thanks !

If they were all males it is but mom should step in if there. The males start looking for their own gaggle around 6-8 months here.
