does ideal Welsummers

does Ideal Welsummers really lay dark eggs?
I heard that most hatcheries maran don’t lay dark eggs and I been thinking will this also be the same with Welsummers and other dark eggs layers

I don't have any Welsummers from Ideal but I have heard that the eggs are not as dark as those you would get from a breeder. If you want great welsummer contact Mothergoose and get on her waiting list. I am incubating some of her welsummer eggs now. WELL worth the wait.

I havent seen the welsummer eggs from Ideal, but we have a maran hen from Ideal and her eggs are brown, like a jersey cow brown, they are darker than the barred rocks.
