Does it matter where the incubator is placed?

I thought I read somewhere not too have the incubator directly on the floor, I can’t find the post or any information about that. I have hard porcelain tile, does it matter if I have the incubator in the floor or should it be in the table or off the ground? I have a brinsea 190 cabinet incubator

Being on the floor for a cabinet incubator is not a big deal....if it were Styrofoam, than yes, it would matter.
In any case, no incubator, whether Styrofoam or a cabinet incubator should be exposed to drafts, direct sunlight, and should be in a climate controlled situation.

Not on a rug if foam. Holes on the bottom need to breathe.

Ok thank you, I have a foam incubator and it’s on an elevated surface but wasn’t sure if that applies to cabinet incubators too but I got the answer. Thank you everyone
