Hi, there, sorry you haven't been able to get a reply back yet. How is your chick doing?

Are you feeding them any treats, or supplements to their diet, if yes, I would stop for a week and see if the shedding clears up. Have they been outside yet? Is she eating, and drinking well?

Judging from the picture, I would lean towards it not being Coccidiosis-related, nor worm-related. Bloody poops from birds affected with an overabundance of coccidia tend to produce larger globs, that are deeper red in color. Very rarely do chicks these ages come down with worms, or coccidiosis in the first place. That is seen more frequently as they age, and when their outside. If the shedding persists I would consider collecting a few of the samples, and bringing them to your vet for a gram stain, and fecal floation.

To me, it looks like an intestinal shed. I'll get a few other opinions on this, and tag @Wyorp Rock , and @Eggcessive .

I agree it does look like intestinal shedding.
What concerns me the most is the OP states this is the 3rd one they have pulled out?
Are you having to pull the shedding out of the vent because the chick is unable to expel it?
What does the poop look like?

Good questions by @Isaac 0 if they can be answered that would be great.

Oh, and of course photos of the brooder and chick(s) too! We love photos :)
