She's just a regular pekinHaha that's really pretty and cute! Ducks have variations, so it's okay if you think that your duck looks weird. Is she a pekin or jumbo pekin?
Thank you I think so tooLooks fine to me....Cute Duck...
Thank you for the adviceIf it is, it's only VEEERRY minor in very early stages, it's hard to tell from the photo, it could be Juuuuust starting, or it could be shes just been preening/fluffing/ruffling her wings before you took this photo. If you are concerned, keep an eye on the protein level in her diet (keep it under 15%) and keep an eye on her. I wouldn't worry about doing anything (other than correcting diet if needed) else right now.
If she is developing angel wing, the wings will start to become more noticeably out or up from her body (most photos I see of angel wing the wings hang outwards but I have a duck with it - who I got as an adult so too late to treat - and her wings stick straight up, like the fins on a jet airplane!)
Anyway, if her wings do start to become more noticeable, it's very easy to treat, you just make them a kind of body wrap (lots of photos and videos by googling this) and put it on for about 3 days.
I have treated it this way in a number of rescued wild ducks and all of them were sucessfully treated this way and can fly perfectly well now as adults.
Yes she is a pekinNo, looks to be a Pekin? how old. Generally angel wing is fairly obvious, it's basically like a backwards wing so to speak, their are articles in the pinned info on it if you want to learn more.![]()
