Does my duck have bumblefoot?

(Sorry, I didn't realize this forum was here and posted in the ducks forum first.)

I noticed this afternoon that my 13-ish week old duck was holding one foot off the ground as he was standing and limping when he walked. I was afraid he wouldn't let me catch him to look at it and I didn't want to make him run, because he's obviously injured, but I was able to catch him very easily without scaring him, so I got a good look at the foot. It's just got a very slightly red, swollen spot right along one of the bones in the foot. It's barely noticeable, but it's there. There's a teeny tiny spot of broken skin next to it, not bleeding and barely visible. Is this bumblefoot?

Their house has a wood floor that's covered in several inches of straw which doesn't get wet (water in a jug in another container) and they're in my backyard, which is all grassy, so I don't think we're doing anything that's supposed to cause this condition, but I'm sure it's something they can get anyway, right? What should I do? There is a vet that will see ducks about 40 minutes from here and I don't mind taking him in, but that would be really stressful for him, so if I can treat it without doing that I'd rather. Any advice?

I can try tomorrow afternoon after DH gets home. I definitely can't get the picture without his help.

It doesn't look like the online pics of bumblefoot in ducks (not that there are many). It's just a little pinkish and swollen. Could he have stepped on a bee? We have tons of bees around here and I step on them more than I'd care to admit. (How I can so often fail to see them is a mystery to me.)
