Hi I’ve just bought a roo for ma girls and I’m curious what a fertile blastoderm looks and if mine looks fertile ? I see a vague ring on the white dot? I’m not sure ? If not how long will it be until it’s fertile? My roo attempted mating in the morning but as a whole he doesn’t seem to mate often he’s very nice...

I see a faint ring...but my eyes could be betraying me.

so I'm going to go with infertile too.

the bullseye needs a ring around it to mean it's fertile

Oh hewph. I thought my eggs were infertile! Now I see the difference and they are, thankfully.
An infertile egg will have a small white spot on it, like the eggs pictured.
This is a fertile egg. The blastoderm is larger, and the center is less distinct.View attachment 1227874
