Does my rooster have fungus on his comb?

How long does it typically take for favus to go away with treatment? We have been applying clotrimazole 2-3x per day since the 11th and they keep getting new crusty yellow plaque spots on the same areas we are applying the cream to thickly every day. The roosters are both really good sports about it but my husband is acting like he's being tortured (they never poop on me when I'm the holder but they always poop on him when he is and it's actually kind of satisfying because he's such a baby).

Rooster 2. They are also recovering from coccidiosis, my boy here is having a little harder time than his brother. Both of their combs were so pale it broke my heart, and then they had this crap on them to boot.

Looks like a combo of caked on cream/ointment and dirt.
It should wear off or you can wipe it off.
Sometimes creams/ointment can yellow or even cause skin to flake.

I'd stop the cream and see what the combs look like after a week, see if the cream/ointment residue wears off with them dust bathing, etc. When it wears off and if the skin looks dry or peeling, apply a very thin layer of Vaseline. Sort of warm a little Vaseline between your fingers, then rub into the comb, facial tissue and the wattles.

You have confirmed Coccidiosis or you are just treating for it? Using Corid?
After treatment is finished, provide them both with some probiotics and poultry vitamins.
A little buttermilk stirred into their feed is good for probiotics or you can purchase Probios to go in their water.

A few days ago we started wetting a clean rag with microcyn and wiping their combs with it before applying new cream... they were getting little black spots that I assumed were pecks from the girls (they don't appreciate them yet) and the open sore on Rooster 2's comb, plus a scabby lesion on the inside of Rooster 1's wattle. They also had black discoloration in some places which is also healed up. This is pre-microcyn wipe, I'll try just cleaning them off tonight and see how they look!

A BYC member helped me catch the coccidiosis quickly, I had one hen that went down with it almost a week before the rest. They didn't even start showing major symptoms till I had already started them on a full dose of the 20% powder as a precaution for the first hen, so I took a few fecal samples to a local vet to be sure. I'm so grateful to that person because they ended up so pale and sick, I think I might have lost some if they hadn't been medicated so quickly. They look much better though and are eating better and gaining weight back fast, cause dayum did Rooster 1's fat butt make my arms tired from holding him for his ointment this morning 😂 they're big boys!
