Just got an rcom that holds 24 eggs, does it have to have all 24 in it for good results or can I put less (say like 10)?

I have put less and had great hatches, and I have filled them and had a problem with the last eggs getting stickey and not able to hatch. Ive only done a few hatches but the hatch that I only had 12 in did great. Good Luck! I say go for it.

I ordered the incubator yesterday. The mom has 4 eggs right now and laying one a day (not brooding yet) can I leave them with her till it gets here? Also does the time it takes to hatch start when I put them in the incubator or when she first lays them?
