Does the size of the parents matter when hatching out crosses?

For starters, forgive my ignorance as I have zero experience in breeding and hatching my own chicks. But I have a mixed flock which I've always intended to create crosses from, mostly for fun/curiosity, and the roosters are quite large, Brahmas and Jersey Giants, and the hens are black australorp's and Egyptian Fayoumi's, which are the ones I'm worried about.

So i guess my question is, is it safe to cross a traditionally large breed with a small breed hen? My thought process here, is that the smaller egg that the Egyptians would be laying, might not be large enough to accommodate the resulting larger offspring, and that it would be like trying to grow an emu in a quail egg.

I may be over thinking this, but I would rather ask than end up with a bunch of eggs that don't develop/hatch properly.

I've hatched pullet eggs before from large fowl adults. The chicks were smaller but grew to be normal size adults.

If the hen is willing to bear the roo is more the question.

Egyptian Fayoumi hen mix with Game rooster and hatch out, they can grow at different rate and size, all were born at the same time.
