My two-year-old Isa Browns, Chippy and Curious, aren't laying any eggs since winter started. Does the weather affect their laying process?

Welcome to BYC!
Where are you at?
It depends on how hard your winters are.
Do they look healthy(Bright eyes, red combs etc)?
(-:Chickenlover:-)

P.S. I have two Isa Browns too:-)

Fancychooklady Do you have fairly hard winters? I'm in Canberra(Australia) and my girls have never once stopped laying(before they stopped laying).

Now, my old hen is probably about 4-5 years old. I got my new hen from the RSPCA and they didn't know how old she was. Both girls are still strong and fast and healthy though.

Isa browns are ' egg machines ' in the first 2 years but after that the number of eggs laid is sporadic at best. My last isa died at Xmas , she was 7 years old . She laid the occasional egg but if you want layers , best to go with some of the heritage breeds. I'm afraid that your hens are probably past their best laying days.

Well, chickenlover432, I live in Melbourne. It can get pretty cold here but sometimes the weather it unpredictable. My chooks look healthy and have bright red combs.
