looks fertile to me - I don't mean to derail the thread but I was wondering if a male guinea would mate with a chicken? My sister has hens but no roosters but one of her eggs sure looks fertile and a customer was complaining last week about funny looking "spots" on the yolk.

It's hard to tell from the glare but I think it's fertile. Btw, all yolks will have a small white dot in them. It's only when they take on the form of a bulls-eye that they are fertile.
