Does this look like bloody poop? Should I treat?

We have ten 6-8 day old chicks. I found this strange looking poo in the brooder just now. Kind of dark red & runny. One of the chicks seems to be lethargic - she doesn't run away when you pick her up. And when I turn her over on her back, she'll just lay there and close her eyes.

I have a bottle of sulmet on hand. I was going to put it in their water from the beginning, but then read on here to only treat if I see symptoms. Well, I'm thinking these are symptoms??? Should I put it in their water for all of them? Do I need to separate her and just give her the treated water? And if I do separate her, will she do okay by herself if I put her under a regular light? I only have one heat lamp.

I'm sorry if this is too gross....but here is a pic of the poop that I know came from the one that seems lethargic. Just posting in case this helps in the diagnosis!

I would treat them all if they were my chicks. Follow the directions on the sulmet bottle to the letter.
The one chick that is lethargic, you'll have to use an eyedropperful of the treated water to administer. Put one or two drops of the treated water to the side of her beak at a time to drink. If you give her more than that, she could possibly aspirate, then you'd have a big problem. You'll have to do this often until she regains enough strength to drink the solution on her own.

Sick birds need to be kept warm, so I doubt the regular lightbulb will be warm enough for the sickest. Go buy another heatlamp.
