Does this look like canker?

I have a bantam rooster that I noticed has yellow lesions on each side of his bottom beak. He has a slight raspy crow. He seems to act normal other wise. Is eating and drinking. Could this be canker or something else? I have him isolated from the flock to try to prevent spreading. Can infection cause this too? He got into a little pecking fight with another roo the other day and was pecked on the sides of his beak and it did swell up a little(I don’t know if that info is helpful or not).

If there's a foul odor, it's canker. Get close to it and take a whiff. Check for lesions in the throat as well, it could be a cause of his raspy crowing.

The infection you mentioned via pecking could possibly be a bacterial infection.
