2 years? I would say that is just what she looks like, probably the result of mixed feather mating, I've seen those frizzles turn out ones like that before.

ooooh...yeah...you are probably right! It probably has frizzle X frizzle making it have those "empty" patches! Or...it has some silkie in it...those do look like silkie quills, don't they?
But does that explain how light of weight it is?
